    Grown high in the celebrated region of Yirgacheffe, this exceptional lot from the Idido station showcases everything we love about Ethiopian coffee. Bright, expressive, and beautifully aromatic, it is a true filter standout.

    In the cup, expect a vibrant and layered profile of peach, lychee, and jasmine. Juicy stone fruit sweetness leads, followed by delicate floral aromatics and a refined, tea-like finish. It is clean, elegant, and incredibly expressive.

    This coffee is produced by smallholder farmers delivering to the Idido station, where traditional farming methods remain at the heart of quality. Coffee is grown alongside food crops in small garden plots, often without the use of fertilisers or pesticides. Cherries are selectively handpicked at peak ripeness, then naturally processed on raised beds for 16–21 days, allowing sugars to develop and intensify the fruit character.

    At elevations between 1900–2100 metres, the cooler climate slows cherry development, enhancing clarity, complexity, and sweetness in the final cup. The use of Ethiopian heirloom varieties and JARC selections further contributes to the distinctive and dynamic flavour profile.

    Best suited for filter brewing, this is a coffee that rewards precision and highlights origin character with remarkable clarity.
