Introducing Our Handmade Latte and Espresso Cups

At Bellissimo Coffee, we’re passionate about bringing exceptional coffee experiences to our community—and sometimes, that means looking beyond the beans. We’re excited today to unveil our newest project, handmade latte and espresso cups, this partnership combines the craft of pottery with the artistry of coffee, creating cups that celebrate the beauty of handmade design. Over a year in the making, these cups went through more than 12 prototypes and extensive testing to become something that we think is really special.

A Journey of Design and Craftsmanship

From the very beginning, we wanted these cups to do more than simply hold coffee. We wanted each one to embody the warmth of a morning ritual, the joy of sharing a cup with friends, and the aesthetic appeal of a beautiful object you can proudly display at home. Working closely with Coady, we carefully selected every detail, from the Australian clay that forms each cup to the choice of glaze that complements not only the visual appeal but also the tactile experience of holding it. The shapes of the lip and base were fine-tuned to make every sip as satisfying as possible, with the latte cups perfectly sized for a double shot or ristretto, and the espresso cups perfect for single shots, doppios, or even piccolos.

Unique, One-of-a-Kind Creations

Every cup is entirely unique, thanks to the handmade nature of the process no two cups are identical. You might even find subtle fingerprint impressions in the glaze, a testament to the care and attention poured into each piece. These marks are more than just a signature—they’re a reminder of the artistry and effort behind every cup. With each use, we hope you feel the connection between the art of pottery and the art of coffee.
